407 people have contributed code to scverse. More have made contributions by reporting bugs, answering questions and providing feedback that are not explicitly listed here. Every project is open to contributions and everyone who uses it is part of the community — come and join us.
The team
The following people hold an official role within scverse.

The Core Team governs scverse and is deeply involved in developing and maintaining scverse packages.
Core Developers are core team members who make significant code contributions to scverse and maintain its core packages.
Core Community members grow and support the scverse community through events, workshops and outreach.
Core Governance coordinates across the core team and takes care of funding and the day-to-day running of scverse.
The Steering Council consists of a fixed number of core team members who have additional responsibilities to ensure the smooth running of the project.
Trusted community members responsible for essential parts of scverse.
The Management Committee is committed to supporting scverse and is directly involved in investing in its progress.
The Scientific Advisory Board helps to shape the overall vision for scverse and to define its priorities.
